This Week Topic: Sisterhood in
Islam

Wa Barakato,
Dear sisters,
We
would like to invite you to our Ladies Gathering Event.
This activity will be held on Saturday, June 20th at
6:00pm - there will be a full program; the evening will start
with a lecture -(different topic every gathering)- in between
there will be lots of activities and fun, bring a craft to work
on and share your skills with others, you can play basketball
and/or soccer, bring a DVD for others to watch with you (either
G or PG rating only), & anything else you want to do – this is
the night for the ladies.
SISTERS ONLY ages 10 and above.
Even though I would recommend NO children under 10 at all!
Girls are welcome but only with their parent’s supervision
at all times.
Absolutely, NO boys over 7 years old!!! We want to relax
and have fun.
BRING: a desert to share, your own soft drink if you
want. Tea and Coffee will usually be provided. Bring your
favorite brand of Popcorn - we have a microwave.
Hope to see you there. We want to hear your ideas,
suggestions and thoughts, write and submit them on that evening;
In Sha’ Allah we will take all of them into consideration.
We will make this event every other
Saturday during the summer. It will not be successful
without you, so please come and forward this email to other
friends, join us and you will enjoy our program and have a great
time.
