Do You Care? by Lana Lockhart-Ezzeir You see my tears, but who really cares? We are losing our
strength, our lives, and our lairs. You say that you are with us, but I think that you lie. You do not fight; you just watch. – Please tell me why.
No medicine, no work, and no right to move, They talk of peace, but their bombs must be removed
We are stuck and trapped with no where to run Their impatience for everything has already begun.
What’s left of our land is covered in red Because of the war that the Zionists’ led
Jimmy Carter went and took a good look And told the truth in his Peace not Apartheid Book.
Freedom is priceless just as your forefathers knew “Give me liberty or give me Death” is what you would do.
My mother is crying and gathering us ‘round “I must keep you all safe, but no such place can be found”
The sky is raining with fire from above How can she comfort us, we have lost our love,
We mourn our loss, but we are on the run; We must duck and hide, the Bombs have begun.
We keep our Faith. We know Allah is there. But You in the U.S, do you REALLY care?
Ours and Yours by Lana Lockhart-Ezzeir Our prayers ---- your bullets, Our youth ---- your tanks, Our rocks ---- your bombs, Our vote ---- your loss of a puppet, Our oppression ---- your celebrations, Our funerals ---- your freedoms, Our ruin ---- your joy, Our loss of house - your Cat contract, Our Screams ---- Your victory by any means, Our Blood Loss ---- Your vampire gloss;
But this is something that you should know YOU WILL NEVER TAKE AL-QUDS OR OUR VERY SOULS!!!
